The following analysis has been posted on the website www.peoplesclimateprotocol.aprnet.org. It provides a global context for the Australian people as they study the implications of the Rudd government’s climate policies.
The planet is in the middle of a climate change crisis of catastrophic proportions whose terrible impact on the people will keep getting worse unless there is drastic action to reverse the situation. Global temperatures have increased twice as fast in the last 50 years as over the last century and are expected to rise even faster in the coming two decades.
